When will the 10-12 schools open?
The state government has decided to start standard 10-12 standard schools from January 11, Education Minister Bhupendrasinh Chudasama has made an important announcement about opening schools in the state. He also clarified that school attendance is not compulsory. Schools will be required to comply with the Centre’s SOP. Along with this, online education will also continue. In addition, the decision will apply to all board schools in the state.
With this, the last year’s teaching work of UG, PG will also start. The Education Minister also clarified about a mass promotion that there is no consideration to give mass promotion to students in Gujarat at present. Exams will be taken from the courses as they have been studied.
Chudasama said the issue of opening a school-college was discussed in today’s cabinet meeting and it was decided that Std 10 and 12, PG, UG last year’s education would be resumed from January 11. He said that the state government has accepted the SOP of the central government, so the school has to take precaution and health precautions.
He said social distance would be observed in the seating arrangement and the consent of the parents would have to be sought for the student coming to the school. Student attendance is not compulsory in school so online education will also continue. Students and teachers must adhere to masks and SOPs.
