Dry state Gujarat’s New Heritage Tourism Policy.
CM Vijay Rupani announced a new Heritage tourism policy, by giving financial aid and relief to Heritage structures build before 1950. so, the tourism industry in Gujarat attracts more foreign visitors just like Rajasthan and Maharastra.
Vadodara’s Maharani Said Radhikaraje said, “Gujarat is a prosperous state and we have very beautiful palaces with different architecture, so it can very much be a part of the tourism circle, but it is a dry state due to the prohibition law. One doesn’t imagine luxury travelers, destination weddings, or foreign travelers coming here because they want to have a glass of wine in their hands, sit, and enjoy. We feel that it is a deterrent; many in the royal families feel that way.”
Rajasthan and Maharastra have the highest visitors in their heritage sites due to Liquor free states, as there is a prohibition of liquor in Gujarat fewer visitors are coming to Gujarat to see heritage and old structures. Even More and More gujarati’s visit Rajasthan and other Liquore free states, so they can enjoy the travel with such luxury facilities.
