More than 500 Patients in SSG & 205 in Gotri hospitals – Vinod Rao

OSD Vinod Rao today visited  SSG Hospital and took stock of the situation with all concerned.

As per Mr. Rao, We have created capacity for treating more than 550 COVID patients including 75 ICU beds. Pediatric Ward on the 2nd Floor of Trauma Building has also been converted to COVID ICU.  At the moment 199 COVID Positive patients are being treated here, out of which 3 are on Ventilator and 18 on BIPAP support.

In SSG Hospital too we are seeing a decline in the number of patients in the last week.

He also Visited Gotri Hospital and had a detailed review with all the concerned.

As per Mr. Rao, We have a capacity of more than 500 beds including more than 125 beds ICU.  As of today, 205 COVID Positive patients are being treated, out of which 21 are on BIPAP support. Nobody is in invasive Ventilator today.  The total number of Hospitalized patients and the number of critical patients on Ventilators, BIPAP, and Oxygen support have decreased in the last week.
