3. Chatako at Krishna Restaurant
Krishna Restaurant is located on Madanzapa Road Near Ramji Mandir and very famous for its food items. They also, open a branch Near DMart Akota, Near OP Road.
Their Famous items are, Chatako, Jalebi, Bhajiya Usal, Bataka Pawa. Chatako is basically spicy “Pana na Bhaji with Bataka and Dahi” They have a variety of items on their menu and to try every item you need to visit this place at least 5-6 times. It’s a very well maintained restaurant with sitting facility available. Options also available for the people who are on Fast.
4. Vishal Sandwich
Vishal Sandwich is a very famous food outlet in Vadodara for its Samosa Sandwich. It’s now located at Jetalpur Road, Near Swagat Restaurant. Cheese Samosa Sandwich is a must-try item at Vishal. He also serves a regular sandwich.
Those who are fans of Jam Butter, try this at Vishal Sandwich. His Jam is totally different and you might like the flavor. Personally, it’s my favorite.
5. Puna Misal at Canara Coffee House
Canara Coffee House- The old restaurant now opens at a new location Near Premanand Hall, Lakdipul Dandiya Bazar. Puna Misal, Upma, and Veg Tomato Omelet (chana na lot na puda), and Dosa and Uttapam are famous items at Canara along with Coffee. After reopening at a new place some foodies feel the taste of Puna Misal is not the same served at the old one. Also, the ambiance of the old restaurant is better than this new one.
Still, as a Barodian you can try Puna Misal and decide on your own.
6. Samrat Cold Drinks
Samrat Restaurant located in Mangalbazaar. and it’s a very old restaurant serving “Doodh cold drinks” and Ice creams. Vanilla and Kajudraksh are their main ice creams.
7. Jagdish Bhakharwadi & Lilo Chevdo
Jagdish Ni Bhakarwadi and Lilo chevdo are famous worldwide. Original Jagdish is located at Jubilee baug. The building’s name is Magan Cottage and the Blue and Yellow signboard is the identity to Find the 1st Jagdish Farsan shop. There are many shops with the same name with different logos.
8. Duliram Penda
Duliram Penda is famous for its mouthwatering Penda, Located Opp Usha Kiran Building Near Tower Raopura. They have their branch open on the old padra road also. This shop is crowded with long queues most of the time, especially on festivals, and on the day when the 1oth and 12th results declared.
